3 BATTLES TO WATCH OUT FOR IN #IndvsAus TEST SERIES

Every cricketing team dreams about beating India at home because the records show. Our soil is our fortress and only England have been able to breach this in the recent past. But, under the leadership of Virat Kohli, the number 1 test team in the world, looks fresh, young and hungry for success.

Both the batsmen are in red hot form this year. Warner has not looked back ever since after winning the IPL and outshining Kohli with his leadership skills and batting. Kohli on the other hand has hit a purple patch. Both these batsmen have mutual respect for each other but would be aiming to outshine the other.

2.Steve Smith vs Indian Bowlers :

The Australian captain has been one tough nut to crack for our Indian bowling unit. We all saw what he did to us back in 2014 and the problems that he caused the Indian team. Steve Smith has been in a decent run and the Indian bowlers spearheaded by Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja would love to take him out for cheap.

3.Mitchell Starc vs Virat Kohli :

Even though both these fearsome cricketers hail from the same franchise in the IPL, there will be tempers flaring. The pundits have tipped Mitchell Starc to worry Virat Kohli in this 4 match test series. Kohli on the other hand, as always, would love to let his bat do the talking. “I think Starc is a brilliant bowler for the sub-continental conditions. He bowls at a genuine pace, can swing the new ball and is an excellent exponent of reverse swing. I am sure he will challenge Kohli throughout the series. It will, however, take a collective effort to stop Kohli, who has been phenomenal of late,” Hussey told PTI in an exclusive interview.

The Indian test cricket team is number 1 in the world courtesy to six consecutive home test series wins. Virat Kohli would like to love to have another test series whitewash in his kitty. The expectations are high, sledging on the cards, tempers will flare – that’s how we expect an India-Australia test match!
