4 ways to get rid of patchy beard

What can be worse than not being able to grow beard? Or being barely able to somehow grow a patchy beard? You wait for months to grow your beard but the end result is disappointing. Not to worry anymore because below mentioned are few tips to get rid of that patchy beard of yours.

1. Amp Up The Contrast:

You will always find that the growth of facial hair is always significantly more around your sideburns and neckline. Many a times, men tend to overlook the volume of hair around these areas while focusing more on the hair on the cheeks, chin and jawline. Start drawing some attention to these areas as well. Use a clipper to trim the length at the sideburns and contain the growth into a pattern. At the neckline, use a razor cleverly to shape and contain the hair growth. This adds an edge to your beard and takes away greatly from the patchiness which automatically becomes less pronounced.

2. Even It Out:

For those of you who have patches that still do consist of facial hair and aren’t all that barren, you could also choose to even out your facial hair by use of a trimmer. Trim the facial hair down to the same length as the hair in the patchy area. It could give you a refined stubble without looking patchy.

3. Grow It Out:

You can always conceal the patchiness by growing out your facial hair to the point where the barren areas of your face are well hidden for anyone to make out whether or not you have a patchy beard. You heard that; stay away from the razor and the shaving cream for a while till you notice the patchiness has disappeared. This also means you have to wait it out and have the patience to go through that awkward period having patches of facial hair to having an actual beard. Rest assured, it will be worth your wait.

4. Keep It Short:

If a patchy beard has been your problem since the very beginning, maybe you should steer clear of growing it that far. Maintain an unkempt stubble instead. No, it’s not the same as a beard; but, it is better than having a patchy beard. It’s easier to maintain and you don’t have to worry about the barren crates forming amidst the scanty growth of facial hair.
