Build a perfect skincare routine

Everyone wants a good, healthy and flawless skin. While people do spend a lot on products trying to gain that, not many actually try to build a proper routine to care for their skin. It is important that you build and follow a skin care regimen to keep your skin healthy. While you try to achieve the same, make sure that you only use good quality products.

Normal/Combination Skin – It is important that you choose and find the correct skincare that works best for you. You should use a gentle cleanser to wash then rinse with warm water and pat dry to ensure proper cleaning with care.

Dry skin – For people with dry skin, it is best to use a gentle cleanser that does not have any alcohol or fragrance as these ingredients dry out your skin even further. Also, exfoliate once a week to get rid of flaky skin cells, it makes your skin look clearer.

Oily skin – Use an oil-free foaming cleanser to wash your face if your skin is oily, and rinse with plenty of warm water.

Sensitive skin – Use a gentle cleanser and rinse with warm water if you have sensitive skin. Make sure you pat dry your skin after washing and not rub.

Step 3: Moisturise :

Every skin type needs moisturising. You may think you do not need one if your skin is oily, but all skin types need moisture. It keeps your skin from drying out, apply it while your skin is still damp from washing or rinsing to seal the moisture.

Step 4: Put on Sunscreen :

It is best to use a separate sunscreen even if your moisturiser might already have it as an ingredient. The sun can damage your skin in only 15 minutes. Search for a sunscreen that works against both UVA and UVB rays with an SPF of at least 30.

It is important to have a proper skincare routine that enhances and maintains the health of your skin. Equipped with the basic steps of skin care, you can further look into choosing the right products for your skin and eating healthy.
