Pranav Dhanawade – Rising of a new star in cricket

How would you describe a feeling which you haven’t experienced before? This is exactly what went through a 15-year-old boy’s head as he broke a world record which was more than a century old. Pranav Dhanawade, a Kalyan resident, played an impeccable unbeaten knock of 1009 runs in just 323 balls and surpassed AEJ Collins’ standing record of an unbeaten 628 runs.

It took a while for Pranav to sink in such an euphoric experience; however, the teen is overjoyed with his achievement and is looking forward to prosper as a professional cricketer. Pranav’s father Prashant Dhanawade, also a rickshaw driver was present at the ground when his son created history and was equally delighted.

Mr. Dhanawade also mentioned that his son truly deserves this milestone, as he has toiled hard in the sun, inspite of several adversities in the path and has come out as a true winner.
