Most Awaited Bikes of 2017

What a year will be 2017 for all the motor cycle enthusiasts in India. People have been crazily awaiting some bikes whose release news created a havoc in the motor cycle industry. 2016 has been a good year for bike manufacturing giants, as a result of which, they are trying to grow in the affordable sports-bikes industry by releasing newer and better models this year. Here are some most awaited bikes that are expected to stand out in 2017.

 

Duke 390 and 200:

The updated versions of Duke 390 and Duke 200 are two of the most awaited bikes by the youth in India. Duke has always been successful when it comes to impress the youth by its elegant design and features. This bike will get amazing upgrades to its styling, making it sportier and more feature-rich than the current model. The bike is claimed to have a top speed of around 169kmph. The 200cc model will retain the same 200cc engine. The Austrian bike manufacturers will launch these versions in the first half of the year.

BMW G310 GS:

If you are a fan of adventure bikes and probably planning to buy one this year, BMW G310 GS can be the perfect pick. One would definitely check his pocket once he hears the word BMW. But to match the Indian buying patterns and adapting to it, BMW has made sure that it keeps the price range of the bike according to Indian market demands. The G 310 GS Adventure bike made its global debut at the 2016 EICMA in Milan. It is powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled with 34bhp and 28Nm of torque. This bike is a fair deal for adventure bike lovers.

Hero Xtreme 200S, XF3R and HX250R:

Hero MotoCorp has been referred as the conqueror of the affordable bikes category. Now that it’s well established in that category, it’s focusing on setting a benchmark in the growing performance segment too. At the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the homegrown two-wheeler maker had showcased the Xtreme 200S, XF3R and HX250R concepts. These models will be equipped by a 200cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that will be beneficial for 18.5bhp of power and 17.2Nm of torque. This bike can be a big hit as people have always trusted Hero MotoCorp when it comes to bikes, and will look forward to experiment with their new versions.

YAMAHA R15 V3.0:

After crashing the Indian Sports-bike in affordable category with R15, Yamaha is looking forward to release the

version 3.0 this year. It’s focusing mainly to develop the styling of the bike. In addition, it’s giving a new dynamic racing blue shade with a more powerful engine than previous versions. It will be powered by a new 155cc. Coming to other features, the bike will get LED headlamps and tail-lamps, digital instrument console with LED backlight and inverted telescopic suspension.
