With his Directorial debut, renowned screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is set to bring to the big screen the story based upon the memoir Molly’s Game: From Hollywood’s Elite to Wall Street’s Billionaire Boys Club, My High-Stakes Adventure in the World of Underground Poker by Molly Bloom. The film will feature Jessica Chastain as Bloom, along with Idris Alba, Kevin Costner, etc.
The film will follow Bloom, a 26-year old who becomes the target of FBI investigation for her underground poker empire for Hollywood celebrities, business tycoons, athletes and Russian Mobs.
This film is one of the most awaited films solely because of Aaron Sorkin who have monopolised Hollywood with his writing and now the eyes on him for his directorial debut.
Directed and co-produced by James Franco, The Disaster Artist is biographical comedy-drama film starring James Franco. The film is based on Greg Sestero’s non-fiction book of the same name. The film chronicles the making of ‘The Room’, the cult film directed by Tommy Wiseau in 2003. It is written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber (The Fault in Our Stars fame).
The film will have Seth Rogen, Josh Hutcherson, Zac Efron, Hannibal Buress, Melanie Griffith, Sharon Stone and Jacki Weaver as supporting actors. It will be released on December 8 2017, making it the most awaited film of the year.
Star Wars: Episode VIII- The Last Jedi is the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, after Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The film has been directed by Rian Johnson and stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, and Lupita Nyongó. The film is produced by Lucas Films and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios. After the successful run of Star wars: The Force Awakens, this film will be high on expectations among Star Wars’ fans.
